CURE

Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for epilepsy by raising funds for research and by increasing awareness of the prevalence and devastation of this disease. CURE was founded in 1998 by parents who were frustrated with their inability to protect their children from the devastation of seizures and the side effects of medications. CURE’s mission is not only driven by the painful struggle of families who suffer from epilepsy worldwide, but also by the pressing need for scientific research and data. Since its inception, CURE has raised more than $18 million to fund research and other initiatives. CURE is the leading organization funding research solely focused on finding a cure and has awarded 116 cutting-edge projects. For all of those affected by epilepsy, CURE believes it’s time to find a cure and envisions a future without seizures or epilepsy.
