Put a Paul's Run Team Together!

Not sure how to get started? No problem; we're here to help!
Follow these simple steps and you'll form a team in no time. Even kids can do it!

Recruit Your Team:
It's never too late to start. You can walk or run the 5k with family members, co-workers, friends from school or your community, even athletic teams! Anyone can do it, and it's more fun running/walking in numbers! Utilize today's technology via Facebook, Twitter, etc. to generate interest.

Set Fundraising Goals:
We don't require any minimum, but we do suggest an easy goal of $500.00. If you recruit just five people on your team and each one raises $100.00, you've reached your goal! $500.00 places you at the Gold Level on our T-Shirts and signage! Challenge your team members...everyone loves a challenge!

Register and Select a Team Name and Team Captain:
Select a fun name for your team and a team captain. It's easy to correspond through emails, etc. to track your team's progress. Through our on-line reservation system, you can also elect to track your team's progress. If interested, please email us at: info@paulsrunforepilepsy.org for further info. Don't forget to use Facebook, etc. to promote your involvement in our event.

Honor Someone with Epilepsy:
If you know someone who is suffering from Epilepsy, have your team walk/run in honor of them. Ask them to attend the event: we would love to meet them!

Create a Team T-shirt:
If your team would like to have customized T-shirts, we will be glad to provide you with our logo. Just email us!

Create a Team Banner/Sign:
Feel free to create your own banner/sign and we will be happy to post it along the 5K course.

How to Raise Funds?
There are many ways other than just door to door collections: put a jar on your desk at work or school; have a bake sale or car wash; how about a wine and cheese party? Be creative and have fun while supporting a cause that needs your effort.

Company Matching!
Many companies are willing to match your donations. Ask everyone on your team to ask your human resource department! Double your donations!!

Say Thank You!
Make sure to thank your team for their efforts in fundraising as well as community awareness. Send thank you's to everyone who has donated to your team!

From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you for helping to make Paul's Run a success!
